Responsible for site or multi-site management in the areas of associate relations, labor relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, training and development, succession planning and staffing.<br><br><b>WHAT YOU WILL DO</b><br> <br>Grow Our People<br>&bull; We care deeply about people, enjoy diversity and develop talent to get the best out of all of us<br><br>Obsess Over Customers<br>&bull; We delight our customers with innovative products and experiences that support a healthier future for people and planet<br><br>Win Together<br>&bull; We collaborate across boundaries to deliver on our strategy and purpose<br><br>Operational Excellence <br>&bull; Ensure effective performance management within facility and consistently look to improve organization performance through review and development <br>&bull; Ensure a recruitment plan to effectively resource and place the right people in the right place at the right time to consistently drive and foster a sales culture within the Region <br>&bull; Ensure adherence to all State and Federal regulations including wage and hour, grievance investigation, minor compliance, Human Rights claims, National Labor Board charges, OSHA, record keeping, and sexual harassment resolution <br>&bull; Adhere to collective bargaining agreements in union facilities and take part in driving direct dealing strategies. Partner with operations on contract application, resolving labor disputes, participate in grievances and arbitrations and execute settlement agreements <br><br>Planning and Execution <br>&bull; Drive for an inclusive organization through staffing and promotion and support recruiting strategy for facility salaried managers and supervisors <br>&bull; Oversee staffing within newly hired associates and exit interviews for higher level associates <br>&bull; Validate and approve exempt and non-exempt merit increases and job evaluations <br>&bull; Address associate relations issues and company policy infractions and investigate, resolve, respond and appropriately document all Associate complaints in a timely manner - including Global Compliance Complaints <br><br>Collaboration and Teamwork <br>&bull; Participate in the management development process. Meet with evaluators and incumbents to define appropriate plan and training to support identified career path. Provide direction and feedback to managers and incumbents to ensure follow through and continued appropriateness of plan based on demonstrated performance <br><br>Associate Development <br>&bull; Deploy all training and development initiatives to ensure associates are equipped to meet the needs of their department and store goals <br>&bull; Drive Associate engagement in the facility through supporting Associate Recognition, Engagement Survey, engagement meetings and other initiatives <br>&bull; Drive continuous improvement of the Company's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) <br><br><b>WHAT YOU WILL BRING</b><br> &bull;Bachelor's degree or relevant experience <br>&bull;5-7 years' experience in an HR capacity (specifically within a field environment) <br>&bull;Must be readily available and reachable 24/7, capable of responding to concerns and facility emergency situations <br>&bull;Working knowledge of payroll functions <br>&bull;Ability to analyze decisions quickly and make robust decisions <br>&bull;Driven to deliver results, and has the courage to speak up and challenge others <br>&bull;Manages HR information with discretion and ensures organizational effectiveness <br>&bull;Develops others, drivers a strong culture and ensures the highest standard for associate relations <br>&bull;Communicates effectively and understands how to tailor the message to certain audiences <br>&bull;Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and dynamic environment <br>&bull;Ability to manage conflict and strive for a resolution to disputes or other issues <br><br>Salary range is between $99,825.00 - $133,100.00 <br><br>Why Giant: <br> We pride ourselves on cultivating a culture of care and offering opportunities to better yourself professionally and personally.
